Golang Job: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Design, develop, monitor and support solutions which facilitate ease of service deployment, services scalability, availability and operations
• Work collaboratively with the Platform Lead, Engineering squads, and Product Management to resolve complex operational issues
• Investigate best practices and tools, designing a strategy and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others, analyzing results and ensuring best practices
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Working with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Creating scalable IaC backed systems that can scale to handle our explosive growth.

Skills:

• Minimum 3 yrs of DevOps experience
• Deep down knowledge of Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP or private cloud environments.
• Strong experience in Container Technologies (Docker/ Kubernetes) and in containerizing applications.
• Monitoring concepts to be very strong, should have experience with ELK stack, Prometheus and Grafana etc.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Centos and RHEL)
• System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains.
• Proficiency in any programming or scripting language such as Shell Script, Python or Golang.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform)
• Experience with continuous integration, unit and integration testing
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter/self-motivated

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹449,261.77 - ₹1,457,861.61 per year
